8 Months!

So last Sunday lil A turned 8 months!  So crazy!! I just look at him and think...were you really swimming around in my belly 8 months ago?  Cause you're huge...and mobile.
Yes, lil A is officially crawling now... and my living room is a freaking mess!

I haven't done much of a monthly update on him... so here goes.

{Milestones}

• Crawling.  He's mastered the normal crawl, but prefers to army crawl because he's faster at it. 
• He's graduated to a sippy cup.  He still drinks milk from a bottle, but now he's experimenting with juice/water blend.  (More like 90% water, 10% juice lol)
• He's pulling himself up from laying down to sitting up. 
• He's out of his baby basin and now has the whole tub to himself...he goes nuts!!...and we get soaked.
• He started clucking his tongue .. I know it's a speech milestone, so I'm not sure what new sounds he'll be babbling. 

{Monthly Highlight}
Lil A had his first Christmas!  It was awesome...he unwrapped a few gifts himself, but the temptation of the shiny papers and crumpling noise was too much for him to handle.  He screamed in absolute bliss at the pile we made for him to roll around in. :)  He was asleep for New Years... :)

{Food}
We introduced some new flavorings to his homemade baby food: Peas, Spinach, Chicken, Yogurt, Bananas, Blueberries and Animal Crackers.  {I experiment with the combinations...so far if I find it tasty...so does he}  We've been lucky because he's eating anything we give him without reluctance.

{Sleep}
He's been sleeping 9 straight hours at night.  Randomly he'll wake up in the middle of  the night, but he usually finds his binky, pops it in, and his back down.  He takes a 3-4 hour nap during the day too.

{Likes}

• Paper...to rip and shred...then eat.
• iPhone charger cord
• The lid to his baby oil
• To wrestle with his pillow pal
• To smash things...such a boy

{Dislikes}

• Waiting for us to spoon him his food... the kid can eat!
• Getting out of his bath and getting moisturized
• Sitting still for his monthly pics
